At San Diego County Court, the student:teacher ratio has risen 26% over the 5-year window — from 5.4:1 in 2020 to 6.8:1 in 2024. The gap vs US average of 15.4:1 has narrowed — from 10.0:1 below in 2020 to 8.6:1 below in 2024.
