At Poway to Palomar Middle College, the student:teacher ratio has risen 138% over the 5-year window — from 18.5:1 in 2022 to 44.0:1 in 2024. Despite that, the gap vs US average of 15.4:1 has actually widened — from 3.1:1 above in 2022 to 28.6:1 above in 2024.
