At Golden Hill K-8, chronic absenteeism has fallen 14% over the 5-year window — from 6.2% in 2017 to 5.3% in 2020. Despite that, the gap vs US average of ~28% has actually widened — from 21.8% below in 2017 to 22.7% below in 2020.
